I love telling stories—with and without words. To me, the raw, analogue photograph is the core of authentic communication. It is honest and aesthetic at the same time—a necessary counterweight in an otherwise polished digital world. My Photo Gallery
I have always been fascinated by the question: How do you make the world a better place?
For me, it is not about systems or ideologies. It is about personal freedom. The freedom to live your life the way you want—without being pushed to the margins of the community.
That is also why I am deeply fascinated by the history of the GDR (East Germany). A society where the state attempted to control people’s thoughts, relationships, and choices—and where the longing for freedom still found its own ways.
My documentaries emerge in the tension between freedom and control. Between the individual and the system. Between what is said out loud—and what is lived in silence.
