Mr. Jan Lillge-Korgaard, born 05.02.1976, was employed in our institution as a freelance guide since October 2012. Our institution is located in building 1 of the complex that previously served as the headquarters of the Ministry for State Security (MfS) in the GDR. Based on this historic site and various exhibition sections, visitors can learn about conditions in the GDR. A particular focus of our work is guided tours and other events within civic education for adults.
Mr. Lillge-Korgaard’s responsibilities primarily included organizing guided tours of our exhibition and delivering expert lectures on the topic “The Ministry for State Security in the GDR.” Due to his language skills, he was mainly assigned to guide Scandinavian and English-speaking visitor groups. These groups consistently expressed very positive feedback about Mr. Lillge-Korgaard. In particular, his didactic skills and extensive factual knowledge were highlighted.
Mr. Lillge-Korgaard always carried out the tasks assigned to him to our full satisfaction. His pedagogical skills, professional expertise, and reliability make him a highly valued employee.
For the reasons mentioned, we regret Mr. Lillge-Korgaard’s decision to move back to Denmark.
We wish Mr. Lillge-Korgaard all the best for his personal and professional future.
